Ministry of Culture and Tourism to facilitate arts troupe to The 3rd International Children Festival, Fathiye Turkey
24 junior high school students from Al-Ikhlas Junior High School Jakarta will represent Indonesia to perform in The 3rd International Children Festival in Fethiye, South Turkey. In this very first participation, these student will perform traditional dances and also take part in international dance competition followed by 22 dancing teams from all over the world.
| International visitors from Australia significantly increased
Australian visitors who came to Indonesia within the first two months of 2010 (January - February) has significantly rise up to 52,36%. In year of 2009 foreign visitors from Australia were about 60.601, while in year of 2010 it rise up to 92.332 visits.

International tourist arrivals to Indonesia has reached 523.135 during February 2010. It increased 24.10% compared to the same period in 2009 which only reached 421.555. said Head of Center Data Management and Network System (Ministry of Culture and Tourism) Ir. Wibowo at Sapta Pesona Building Jakarta, Thursday (1/4/2010).

| Moderate Recovery Forecast for 2010
The softening in the rate of decline seen in the last months is expected to continue during the remainder of the year. As this is in line with the UNWTOs initial projection, for the full year the forecast for international tourist arrivals is maintained at between -6% to -4%.
